Miko Girl

Shiwasu works as a Miko (shrine maiden) at the shrine where her father is chief priest. Her mother has long ago abandoned the family. Shiwasu is bright but directionless and nurses a very bad attitude.

One night, as she walks around the shrine, she discovers and captures 5-year-old Kenta trying to commit arson. She soon discovers he has fled an abusive mother and her boyfriend. Shiwasu decides to help and in doing so finds her own sense of purpose.
