Laughing Under the Clouds

 It is the 11th year of the Meiji era and times are uncertain.  The return of Orochi – a giant mystical serpent reborn once every 300 years to bring disaster to Japan – is imminent, and a huge prison island has been created to control the growing unrest as people protest the ban on the samurai.  

The three brothers of the Kumo temple, together with the Yamainu government battle-force, are tasked with repelling the beast and bringing peace to Japan. Meanwhile the Anyaku ninja group begin their move to control the power of the Orochi in order to overthrow the government.
