Demetre Vasilounis

Director

Demetre Vasilounis is Partner at Aird & Berlis LLP, where he works within the firm’s Tax and Estates & Trusts Groups to assist clients with family wealth and succession planning matters. While studying in law school, Demetre acted as Division Leader for Community and Legal Aid Services Programme's Criminal and Immigration Divisions. Demetre also serves as Secretary of the Ontario Bar Association’s Trusts and Estates Section Executive.

Among Demetre’s long list of volunteer experience includes being a member of the Screening Committee for the Toronto Reel Asian International Film Festival, a panelist at Anime North, a mentor for the Law in Action Within Schools (LAWS) program, and an ESL Teacher at St. Paul's Anglican Church. Demetre's experience also includes over twelve years of working as an event volunteer and coordinator here at the JCCC.
