Demetre Vasilounis

Director

Demetre Vasilounis is an associate lawyer with Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP, where he works within the firm’s Trusts, Wills, Estates, and Charities group to assist clients with family wealth and succession planning matters. While studying in law school, Demetre acted as Division Leader for Community and Legal Aid Services Programme's Criminal and Immigration Divisions. Demetre also serves as a Public Affairs Liaison with the Ontario Bar Association’s Trusts and Estates Section.

Among Demetre’s long list of volunteer experience includes being a member of the Screening Committee for the Toronto Reel Asian International Film Festival, a mentor for the Law in Action Within Schools (LAWS) program, and an ESL Teacher at St. Paul's Anglican Church. Demetre's experience also includes over ten years of working as an event volunteer and coordinator here at the JCCC.
