Demetre Vasilounis

Demetre Vasilounis is a Senior Manager in High Net Worth Planning Services at RBC Family Office Services, where he specializes in comprehensive trust, estate, tax, and business succession planning. Prior to joining RBC, he spent nearly a decade in a multi-national law firm environment, most recently as a partner at one of Canada's most recognized law firms for private client work. While studying in law school, Demetre acted as Division Leader for Community and Legal Aid Services Programme's Criminal and Immigration Divisions.

Among Demetre’s long list of volunteer experience includes being the Secretary of the Ontario Bar Association’s Trusts and Estates Section Executive, member of the Features Programming Committee for the Toronto Reel Asian International Film Festival, a panelist at Anime North, a mentor for the Law in Action Within Schools (LAWS) program, and an ESL Teacher at St. Paul's Bloor Street. Demetre's experience also includes over thirteen years of working as an event volunteer and coordinator here at the JCCC.
