The JCCC has various spaces available to promote promotes excellence in primarily contemporary art and design, with a curatorial emphasis on the work by Canadian & International artists of Japanese ancestry and of the larger Asian Community.

The Moriyama Nikkei Heritage Centre is a multi-use museum space that promotes educational programming and learning through various level of interactions.

The JCCC Art Gallery at the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre represents a 2,500 square foot area on our main floor. It is committed to a multi-disciplinary program encompassing visual art, design, performing arts, and literature. We encourage inter-disciplinary work, collaboration, dialogue, and art education.

The Nikkei Heritage Wing is located near the entrance of the JCCC and is currently accepting applications for exhibition proposals.

The Heritage Lounge Case is located outside the JCCC Gallery and is currently accepting applications for exhibition proposals.
