Many Voices: Japanese Languages in Canada

About

As part of the Many Voices: Japanese Languages in Canada exhibit, the JCCC collaborated with Dr. Ai Taniguchi, a professor of linguistics at the University of Toronto Mississauga, to interview Japanese Canadians about their experiences with the language. Dr. Taniguchi created ethnographic comics based on this research. Part 1, on this page, is available for viewing in the Moriyama Nikkei Heritage Centre, as well as online. Part 2 contains online-only comics.
