Description

In the interview, Mickey describes his life story, from his family history to growing up on Powell Street in Vancouver. As a child, Mickey and his family were forcibly removed to Slocan City, while his father worked in a road camp. Afterwards, Mickey and his family moved to Bay Farm. Post-WWII, Mickey's family moved to Guelph, Ontario, where he later enrolled in the University of Toronto and became an engineer. He is the husband of Laiko Matsubayashi (nee Miyake).
