Description

In the interview, Rose Kutsukake (nee Taipei)  describes her marriage to her husband, Ken Kutsukake. She also talks about her childhood in Vancouver, where her parents ran a rooming house on Powell Street, and her time working in a department store as a teenager. During the forced removal of Japanese Canadians, Rose and her family were moved to Slocan City. After the war, Rose and her family moved to Toronto, where she worked as a seamstress.
