Friendship Through Culture Artist Walk & Talk

Our Community Art Show, Friendship through Culture (2026) / 文化がわかる。心がかよう (2026) will be having an Artists' Walk and Talk during Doors Open this year!

The exhibit is a reflection on the evolving meanings of a phrase that has long shaped Japanese Canadian cultural life, featuring over 60 artists and a myriad of media.

Please join us for an Artists' Walk and Talk on May 24th at the Gallery, as part of our Doors Open programming. This event will provide an opportunity for you to hear about the work, inspiration, and creative process from a number of participating artists. The talk runs from 2pm and is free to attend.
