In the interview, Jack Nakamoto discusses his time serving the Canadian army during World War II, in both England and France, working as a translator for the Allies. He also describes his childhood in Vancouver. After his military service, Jack moved to Montreal, and attended St. George's College. Once his family was reunited, and resettled in Toronto, Jack had a long and successful career working for the government.
