A short video recording of Roy Kurita reading a chapter from his memoir “Growing Up Nisei: Boyhood Tales of a Japanese Canadian” which documents his childhood in BC. Roy Kurita was born in Vancouver, BC, May 17, 1927. The video is captured by his daughter, Sharon Lee.

This recording was acquired as part of a call for community members to preserve and share their family stories through the Sedai Oral History Collection.
