Seiji Ichii
Seiji is currently the President and CEO of Weins Canada. Weins Canada was established in 1973 as Don Valley North Automotive Group, an extension of the Japanese business, Yokohama Toyopet. Since then, Weins has become one of the largest automotive groups in Canada, running 15 dealerships across Ontario.
Previously, Seiji worked for Toyota Canada as President and CEO. Prior to that, he was with Toyota Motor Corporation in various roles for over 30 years in Japan, Canada, and the USA. He attended and graduated from the Graduate School of the International University of Japan and majored in International Relations. He obtained a master's degree and a major in Economics with a bachelor's degree from Kyoto University. Seiji has served as Vice President of the Toronto Japanese Association of Commerce and Industry (Shoko Kai), chairman of the Japanese Automobile Manufacturers Association of Canada, and Chairman of the board of the Japanese School of Cincinnati.
