100,000 Paper Cranes for Japan

Posted on: March 13th, 2012

The Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre, in response to the March 11, 2011 disasters, partnered with schools and organizations in the Greater Toronto Area to show solidarity with the people of Japan. This is our message for them.

We are still continuing to raise money through the JCCC Foundation’s Japan Earthquake Relief Fund. To date, we have raised $1.5 million through incredible generosity from people around the globe. This will greatly assist in the continued rebuilding of lives in affected areas of the Tohoku region. But there is still a lot left to be done.
