Jonathan Carter

Jonathan has been volunteering with the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre since 2015 and was invited to join the board due to his accounting expertise, specifically his expertise with QuickBooks. As a hapa, he has been coming to events at the centre since childhood and strongly believes in the message of “Friendship through culture.”

 

As head of the finance committee, he uses his knowledge to improve the ability of management to understand the centre through the numbers and see what is possible. The founder of KATA Accounting Solutions, a cloud-based accounting firm that are QuickBooks Elite ProAdvisors, he is also acting CFO of Atlas 365 and has other volunteer positions.

 

Winner of the 2018 Inspire Accountant Award, he brings a wealth of knowledge concerning accounting and technology to the board and is considered a thought-leader and disruptor among his peers in the field of accounting.
